Curry

2 onions - diced
25g butter
400g tinned tomatoes
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 inch root ginger - grated
3 gloves garlic - mashed
1 chilli - diced
300ml boiled water
chicken or lamb

small handful coriander leaves - chopped
Fry onions in butter.

Add tomatoes, turmeric and salt, stir and simmer for 5 mins.

Add ginger, garlic and chilli and simmer for 5 mins.

Add water.

Add meat, cover and simmer until cooked.

Serve with coriander.
