Shepherd's Pie

500g lamb - minced
1 onion - diced
1 carrot - diced
2 sticks celery - diced
250g chestnut mushrooms - diced (optional)
1 heaped tablespoon plain flour
800 ml water
800 g swede - diced (optional)
800g potatoes - diced
splash semi-skimmed milk
15 g mature Cheddar cheese - grated (optional)
Fry lamb in casserole until browned.

Add onion, carrots, celery & (mushrooms).

Add flour and water, bring to the boil and simmer for 30mins.

Make mash with potatoes, (swede), milk & (cheese).

Build pie in baking tin and bake at 180ºC for 50 mins.
