Lentil Soup

500g cooking bacon - chopped
4 carrots - chopped
2 leeks - chopped
2 onions - chopped
1 parsnip - chopped
250g red lentils
Boil bacon in 3l water for 1hr.

Remove bacon and discard.

Simmer vegetables in stock for 30mins.

Add lentils and simmer for 30mins.

Liquidise.
